A young man riding a bike died in a road accident on the Islampur-Jehanabad main road in Nalanda late night. The incident took place near the cattle market under Islampur police station area. The deceased has been identified as Chhotu Ram (34), son of late Faken Ram, a resident of Betauli Jagatpur Math of Hulasganj police station area of ​​​​Jehanabad district. On Sunday morning, the family reached Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital with the body for post-mortem.

Regarding the incident, cousin Jitendra Kumar said that Chhotu Ram was returning home from Islampur on his bike on Saturday evening after working as a confectioner. Meanwhile, an unknown vehicle hit him near the cattle market, due to which he got seriously injured. With the help of local people, he was admitted to Islampur Primary Health Center. Where he died during treatment.

The family said that they were informed about the incident by the police. After this, they rushed to Islampur where Chhotu Ram’s body was lying in the Primary Health Center. Seeing the body, there was chaos among the family members and the hospital premises became mournful due to the cries of the family members.

In this case, Islampur police station chief Sanjeev Kumar said that the youth injured in the road accident was admitted to the hospital for treatment. Where he died. After confirming the death, the body was taken into custody and sent to Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The police have started further action by registering a case against the unknown vehicle.
